Before You Apply for a Residential Parking Permit
- Make sure your address is correct and up to date on your vehicle's registration and your driver's license. You can update your address with the DMV online. After updating your address, print the confirmation and submit it with your application.
- Clear all unpaid City of Oakland parking tickets.
Apply for a Residential Parking Permit
You will need to submit your Residential Parking Permit application to the Parking Citation Assistance Center, along with four supporting documents and the fee. The address on your application must match the address on each supporting document.
