City Auditor's Peer Review

As a key quality control mechanism, the Office of the City Auditor receives a peer review at least once every three years.

2013 Peer Review
2010 Peer Review

This is an audit of the Auditor's Office by a team of independent auditors from other governmental jurisdictions. This outside group performs an audit to determine if City Auditor meets government auditing standards.

The Office of the City Auditor was peer-reviewed in 2013 by the Association of Local Government Auditors. This review found that the Office's audits were well supported. It also determined that the Office's internal operations were compliant with national standards.

A prior review took place in 2010 and covered years 2007 to 2009. This peer review found that the office met the highest possible standards of performance in government auditing. The report noted the comprehensiveness of the Office's policies and procedures. It also praised the technical competence of the staff.
