Director, Human Resources Management
Ian Appleyard serves as the Director of Human Resources Management Department, overseeing labor and employee relations, benefits, recruitment, risk, training, and organizational development. Prior, he served as human resources director for the City of Emeryville. During his previous 13 years of service with the City of Oakland, he worked in labor relations, classification, recruitment and compensation.
