Boards and Commissions
Citizens' Police Review Board
The Citizens’ Police Review Board (CPRB) gives the community a place to express concerns about City of Oakland policies and specific, individual cases of possible police misconduct. The goal of the CPRB is to help build the relationship between the Oakland community and the Oakland Police Department with independent, impartial, fair and transparent civilian oversight.
Public Ethics Commission
The Commission was created by City Charter Section 202 in 1996 with the goal of ensuring "fairness, openness, honesty and integrity" in City government.
